1. Photovoltaic Power Generation Systems

In solar power plants or residential photovoltaic (PV) systems, inverters convert the direct current (DC) generated by photovoltaic panels into alternating current (AC) for local use or grid connection. For example, grid-connected inverters in rooftop PV systems can feed excess electricity back to the grid, reducing electricity costs.

2. Wind Power Generation Systems

The DC power generated by wind turbines needs to be converted to AC power by inverters, suitable for residential, farm, or industrial use.

3. Electric Vehicles and Charging Stations

In electric vehicle charging stations, inverters are used to convert grid AC power to DC power to charge batteries, or in vehicle systems to convert battery DC power to AC power to drive the motor.

4. Residential and Commercial Backup Power

In areas prone to power outages, inverters, in conjunction with battery banks, provide temporary power to homes or businesses. For example, hospital operating rooms or data center servers can use inverters to maintain the operation of critical equipment.

5. Power Supply in Remote Areas

In mountainous or island regions without grid coverage, off-grid inverters, combined with solar panels and battery packs, provide a stable power supply to residents.

6. Industry and Automation

In the industrial sector, inverters are used to drive motors, control equipment, or provide a stable power supply to automated production lines, especially in scenarios requiring precise voltage and frequency control.
